a couple of years ago and has now formed this new blues duo with French Guitarist Regis Abbal.

JRPMusic Andy Broads CD From The Roots On Down was recorded by James Perret at Watershed Studios.
Watershed no longer operates in it's original form but James continues to work, offering excellent CD mastering services.

Dugout Studios Before you can master it you've got to record it! DugOut Studios offer spacious facilities, with two large rooms
with neighbours well out of harms way. Big Easy recorded their forthcoming CD here, and The Rhythm Kings made a useful demo a couple of years back. Dugout also offer rehearsal facilities.

There's something youv'e forgotten! Before you can record your blues album you need a guitar! One of the best places to buy your guitar in Portsmouth is Street-Level Music. They can be found at the corner of
Elm Grove and Victoria Road North. Barry an Tim are both very helpful and will get you kitted out. Allough Barry claimed to have a web site I couldn't track it down and so you'll have to take a trip down there instead.

hundreds of blues
performers past and present and future.

St Denys Folk And Blues Club meets every thursday at the St Denys Hotel, 1 Aberdeen Road, Southampton, and is run by
Lee Raymond.
They have an open stage most weeks and particularly want more blues players to come along. So if your a pro who wants to try out a new number or a beginner looking for a safe place to start give them a try. ( Just don't tell John I told you to go
somewhere else on a thursday night!)
