The Bullfrog Blues Club is now well established at it's new home. From Thursday 26th of July the club has been held on South Parade Pier.

Barking Spider Promotions and The Bulfrog Blues Club now have a web-site al to them selves! (Also designed and maintained by me) so to reduce redundancy, save time etc this page will only be used to inform you of the hilights at the club.

Barking Spider is also organising this years Southsea Folk And Roots Festival, building on the success of the first festival held in August / September 2001 the festival has expanded to a full week of events, featuring blues, folk, traditional dance and much more.

The hilight of the Blues aspect of the festival must be the blues workshop and following gig by the Bill Thomas Band with Johnney Mars on Monday August 26th.
Workshops in blues guitar, harmonica, bass, and drums will be held during the afternoon with a gig in the evening. The support band for the gig will be drawn from the students at the workshops!
