Bullfrog Blues Club Events In November 2001: Thurday November 1st - King Rollo Well this ones gone by but it was an excellent gig. (Don't panick there will be few left on the door I'm sure). The Rhythm Kings combine the contrastng guitar talents of Andy Broad and Buster Wingham to give the best blues R&B show in town. Thursday November 15th - The Hot Tamales The Hot Tamales were cooked in the embers of Reet Petite & Gone, and feature Stewart Carr on Guitar and Vocals. They play an excellent mixture of old time country blues liberaly salted with Stewarts original matierial. They recently recorded their latest album in New Orleans. I must for fans of great music. *Sunday November 18th* - *The Naughty Rhythms Tour - Featuring Canned Heat* This has got to be the biggee for this month if not the year. Joining Canned Heat for this Rhythm And Blues extravaganza are Dr Feelgood, The Kursal Flyers and John Otway (you what?) This gig will feature members of the Blue Bazookas and ex members of the Continentals Thursday November 29th - The Ainsley Lister Band On his last visit to the club Ainsley recorded his new solo Album. This time he returns with the full band and so i'ts sure to be a riotous night. Ainsley id fast becoming one of the most popularplayers at the rockier end of the blues market. Don't miss this if you want like poerful guitar lead Rhythm & Blues. Thursday December 6th - The Bill Thomas Band I *HAD* to sneek this december date in as it should be a real treat for fans of American blues. Bill Thomas was born in Texas the son of a preacher but has now moved to Paris, and moves in the same circles as Bernard Allison ( Luthers son). I heardabitof the CD and this night promisess to be a great mixture of soul r&b and out and out blues. The Bullfrog blues meets Thursdays at South Parade Pier and is becoming one of the best places to see rhythm and blues on the south coast.
